CAMP FOSTER, Okinawa — The Semper Fit 2007 Oktoberfest Exhibition Games will feature two teams from the Japanese pro basketball league, according to a Marine Corps Community Services news release.

The Okinawa-based Ryukyu Golden Kings, one of two new expansion teams, will play the Tokyo Apache at 6 p.m. Oct. 13 and 3 p.m. Oct. 14 at the Camp Foster Field House.

American Hernando Planells Jr. is head coach of the Kings.

The Apache are coached by Joe “Jellybean” Bryant, a former NBA player and father of Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant.

Free tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis at all MCCS athletic facilities.
