CAMP COINER, South Korea — Camp Coiner’s Gate 20 visitor center will be closed Jan. 2 to Feb. 16 for a $45,000 renovation project, according to Area II officials.

The center is used mainly by South Korean contractors and guests who want to enter Camp Coiner and adjoining Yongsan Garrison, according to a news release.

Visitors should use the Gate 17 visitor center to access the bases during the renovation project. Area II officials will increase staffing at Gate 17.

Pedestrian visitors still can use Gate 5 and Gate 10.

Gate 20 will remain open to authorized personnel not requiring a visitor’s pass, according to the release.

A South Korean contractor will replace flooring, lighting and windows during the project.
