Soldiers from the British Royal Logistical Corps will be working on Conn Barracks in Schweinfurt, Germany, through Oct. 24.

Using Conn’s airfield as a staging and refueling point for convoys, the troops are moving equipment and personnel south for eventual deployment in Iraq, according to a release from the Schweinfurt public affairs office.

U.S. Army Garrison Schweinfurt Headquarters and Headquarters Company is also using the soldiers’ stay as a partnership- and friendship-building opportunity, using the time between convoy arrivals for simulated weapons training, the release said.
