Sgt. Roberto Trigueros with Headquarters, Headquarters Detachment, 29th Transportation Battalion based in Mannheim, Germany, was found guilty last week of rape, indecent assault and adultery in a court-martial that ended June 14.

The indecent assault took place on July 20, 2006, at Spinelli Barracks in Mannheim.

Trigueros had pleaded guilty to a lesser offense of committing an indecent act, but Judge (Col.) James Pohl found him guilty of indecent assault.

The rape and adultery arose from a later incident on Nov. 9, 2006. The rape occurred in Trigueros’ quarters on Funari Barracks in Mannheim, according to the 21st Theater Support Command public affairs office.

Both victims are military spouses and U.S. citizens.

Trigueros is scheduled to be sentenced on June 27 in Mannheim.
