Briefs: Cruiser’s XO ‘temporarily reassigned’
YOKOSUKA NAVAL BASE, Japan — The executive officer of the Yokosuka-based cruiser USS Shiloh has been “temporarily reassigned,” a Navy official said Tuesday.
Commander, Naval Forces Japan spokesman Cmdr. Dave Waterman said Lt. Cmdr. Brett Morash was reassigned to CNFJ “while administrative proceedings are taking place.”
Waterman would not comment on the reason for the administrative move nor provide clarification about the nature of the proceedings.
