The American Red Cross at RAF Mildenhall is looking for students 12 and older for its annual Summer Youth Program, starting July 9.

The annual program, which pairs local youths with various units and organizations around the base for volunteer experience, is open to sponsored and dependent children from the base.

Volunteers work between 20 to 30 hours per week for a month, with no work day to exceed six hours, according to a Red Cross release.

Those interested in participating should contact the Red Cross at 238-3742, or program coordinators Master Sgt. Brian Jumper at 238-3806 or Staff Sgt. Michael Martinez at 238-5976. Orientation for the Volunteer Program begins July 5.
