YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan — The shuttle bus that runs from Yokota Air Base to the New Sanno hotel, Hardy Barracks and the Tama Hills Recreation Area has resumed service, base spokesman Capt. Warren Comer said Friday.

The bus service had been temporarily suspended since Monday in compliance with a high-level Air Force directive to increase certain force-protection measures, he said.

The bus normally operates daily and costs $5 for military identification card holders and $7 for non-I.D. cardholders.
