Bosnia shooting incident under investigation
TUZLA, Bosnia and Herzegovina — Stabilization Force officials and local police are investigating an incident in which three SFOR troops are suspected of firing their weapons into an empty vehicle.
According to an SFOR press release, local police responded to a complaint early Sunday about weapons being fired and discovered the three had driven their vehicle off the road near a house on Bjelasnica Mountain, near Sarajevo. The shots were fired into a vehicle next to the house.
The suspects were turned over to SFOR by the local police. No one was injured and no civilians were involved, the SFOR release stated.
SFOR would not release the nationality of the personnel.
