U.S. military bases across South Korea are celebrating safe and healthy family lifestyles in April.

April is targeted to identify Sexual Assault Awareness and to celebrate the Month of the Military Child.

The following events are planned:

U.S. Army Garrison-YongsanApril 1 — Child Find screenings from 10 to 11:30 a.m. during the Play Works Playgroup at the Hannam Village Army Community Services Outreach Center. Call 738-5151.

April 2 — Child Find screenings from 10 to 11:30 a.m. during the Wee Play Playgroup at the School Age Services Building on Yongsan Garrison’s South Post. Call 738-5151.

April 2, 16 — Stress management from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the Community Services Building, Room 226. Call 738-5150.

April 4 — Parent Pledge Campaign Kick Off at the post exchange from 3 to 6 p.m.

April 5 — Family Fun Walk and Run at 9 a.m. at Collier Field House. Vests are required for all participants.

April 12 — April Showers community baby shower for expecting parents and parents with infants younger than 2 months. Includes a presentation on shaken baby syndrome. Call 738-5151.

April 15, 22, 29 — Becoming a Love & Logic Parent for 0-5 Year Olds, from 6 to 8 p.m. in Bldg. 4106, Room 205. Call 738-8861.

U.S. Army Garrison-HumphreysApril 1 — Well Being Council Proclamation signing at 1 p.m. in the Community Activity Center.

April 4 — Take Back the Night Gate Watch from 9 to 11 p.m. at walk-in gate. Event to show unity in raising sexual assault awareness.

April 10 — Community/Unit Fun Day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Suwon’s Community Activity Center.

April 10 — Rape Aggressive Defense workshop from 10 a.m. to noon at the new gym. Call 753-8401.

April 16 — How Not to Date a Jerk workshop from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Army Community Services building. Call 753-8401.

U.S. Army Garrison-Red CloudApril 16 — The Army Community Service Family Advocacy Program will host a child abuse awareness event from noon to 3 p.m. at Camp Casey’s Steward Field.
