OSAN AIR BASE, South Korea — An Armed Forces Day parade at Osan Air Base is set for noon Saturday.

Marchers will form up at 11:30 a.m. in the thrift shop parking lot just inside the main gate, march down Songtan Boulevard, turn right onto Broadway at the movie theater and end at Turumi Lodge.

The parade’s reviewing officer will be Col. Jon A. Norman, commander of Osan’s 51st Fighter Wing.

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10216 in Songtan is sponsoring the parade in cooperation with the wing.

Also Saturday, at 10:30 a.m., the VFW post, in the basement of the Pacific Hotel in Songtan, will host a ceremony dedicating a wall of their veterans’ hall to World War II’s Tuskegee Airmen. Former Tuskegee Airman Jim Price will attend as the honoree.

Lt. Gen. Stephen G. Wood, commander of U.S. 7th Air Force (Air Forces Korea), and other senior U.S. Air Force officers also are scheduled to attend.

Call Senior Master Sgt. Ron Tichota at DSN 784-1823 or 011-9446-9257 for more information.
