The Defense Commissary Agency has ordered its stores to pull Baker’s Premium White Chocolate Baking Squares due to a possible salmonella contamination threat.

The recall affects only 6-ounce packages with expiration dates of March 31, April 1, April 2 and April 3, 2008, according to a DeCA press release. The UPC on the packaging reads 0043000252200.

Anyone with the recalled product should stop using it immediately and return it, including the label, to the store where it was purchased for a full refund. The recall was initiated Wednesday by Kraft Foods, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Consumers with questions about the recall can contact Kraft Customer Response in the United States at 1-800-310-3704, DeCA’s release said.
