AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy — A 724th Air Mobility Squadron airman was sentenced to a month in jail after pleading guilty to larceny and wrongfully using another airman’s debit card.

At a special court-martial that ended Friday, Airman 1st Class Kenisha Houston was convicted on charges of taking less than $500 from a fellow airman and using the airman’s debit card and PIN to receive long-distance phone service. She pleaded not guilty to a related charge, which was eventually dropped, according to a news release from the 31st Fighter Wing’s public affairs office.

In addition to the one-month confinement, Houston was reduced to E-1 and ordered to pay $849 for four months.
