An Article 32 hearing into allegations that a sailor at Naval Support Activity Naples, Italy, engaged in indecent acts with a minor wrapped up this week after two days of testimony.

The investigating officer, Lt. Cmdr. Kathryn McCormick, has 10 days to submit her recommendation to the convening authority as to whether the case of Chief Petty Officer Felix Correa should go to court-martial, Navy officials said.

Correa, 41, also faces charges of fraternization and sexual harassment. The charges are accusations, and Correa has not been proven guilty. As of Friday, no recommendation had been made, officials said.

The two-day hearing was closed to the public and media.
