TOBYHANNA, Pa. (Tribune News Service) — A Madison Township man will serve six months of home confinement for stealing from the Tobyhanna Army Depot.

Timothy Scheitlin, 43, stole more than $95,000 from the facility between 2014 and 2017. U.S. District Judge A. Richard Caputo also ordered him to pay that amount in restitution during his sentencing Friday at the U.S. attorney’s office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

Scheitlin previously pleaded guilty and admitted that during the course of his employment, he removed money from vending machines for his personal use.
