The Russian Knights, an aerobatic team that flies SU-35 aircraft, have been invited to this year’s Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford, England.

Organizers of the air show are negotiating with the Russian military for an appearance by the Knights, who rarely are seen in the skies of western Europe.

Organizers also are talking with the U.S. Air Force about sending an F-117A Nighthawk stealth fighter to the show.

The Tattoo will be July 19 and 20. Proceeds benefit the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund, which provides money to various charities.

Already signed up are several aerobatic teams, such as the Royal Jordanian Falcons, Italy’s Frecce Tricolori, Team Iskry from Poland and the RAF’s Red Arrows, which will close out an eight-hour flying display each day.

About 300 aircraft from around the world will be on display at the annual affair, either in the air or on the ground, including several from the U.S. military.

Ticket prices are 27.95 British pounds (about $47) in advance or 33 pounds (about $55) on the day of the show. Children younger than 15 are admitted free if accompanied by an adult.
