KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany — American Forces Network camera crews will visit Baumholder, Kaiserslautern and Landstuhl to record greetings that will run on stateside television networks during the holiday season.
Servicemembers and civilian employees from all service branches and their family members are eligible to participate.
In Baumholder, a camera crew will record greetings at the main Exchange store Tuesday from noon to 6 p.m. On Wednesday, a crew will record greetings from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. near the dining facility inside Landstuhl Regional Medical Center.
On Friday and Saturday, the cameras move to the Kaiserslautern Military Community Center on Ramstein Air Base. Tapings will run from noon to 6 p.m. both days.
Those who want to record greetings should have the contact information for family members they want to see the greetings. Station managers need phone numbers to contact family members to let them know when greetings will air. For those with family in more than one city or region, it’s possible to record several greetings.
Servicemembers must be in uniform. Unless deployed, sponsors should accompany their family members to record greetings.
