YONGSAN GARRISON, South Korea — The U.S. 8th Army is putting itself on “quiet time,” while South Korean high school students take the 2005 Korean University National Exam.

This year’s testing takes place this Wednesday through Friday and June 22-24.

Training that causes excessive noise, such as artillery practice, heavy equipment movement and cadence calling will be halted, according to an Army news release, and only mission essential or emergency flights will be allowed.
