INCIRLIK, Turkey — Col. Murrell Stinnette will take command of the 39th Air Base Wing in a ceremony Monday.

Stinnette, formerly vice commander of the 21st Expeditionary Mobility Task Force at McGuire Air Force Base, N.J., will replace Col. Michael Gardiner.

Gardiner will soon assume duties as director of Air and Space Operations at the U.S. Air Forces in Europe headquarters at Ramstein Air Base, Germany.

Stinnette is an experienced C-130 pilot, with more than 5,000 flying hours in the aircraft.
