U.S. Naval Hospital Okinawa, the 18th Medical Group and Marine Corps Base Butler are to conduct voluntary drive-thru flu vaccinations on Nov. 6-7, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Marine Corps Air Station Futenma.
All status of forces agreement personnel on Okinawa are eligible to participate.
Participants will drive to a holding area where they will be medically screened and given the immunization. After receiving the flu shot, they will be held for a brief observation period.
Swine flu — or H1N1 — vaccines will not be distributed.
