A fire erupted Friday in a vehicle storage facility at Camp Darby, Italy.
Fire crews from U.S. Army Garrison Livorno and the Pisa fire department battled the blaze, which ignited about 4 p.m. Nobody was injured in the fire, and there was no structural damage to base facilities, said Joyce Costello, a base spokeswoman. Several vehicles that were scheduled to be demolished were destroyed in the blaze.
Costello said investigators are looking into what sparked the fire.
