Renters in Germany are being asked to take a survey in an effort to keep the Overseas Housing Allowance up to date.

The annual OHA Utility and Move-in Expense Survey is being conducted from Monday through June 3 at this link.

The Department of Defense’s Defense Travel Management Office is gathering information on utility rates, maintenance and move-in expenses, to keep rates for overseas areas current, according to a U.S. Army Europe release.

Army officials recommend that respondents refer to receipts for their housing expenses when they take the survey.

The survey on utility rates is done every year and the move-in expenses survey is done every three years, Department of Defense officials said. Separate surveys on rent rates are done twice a year.
