The Official SAT Online Course is now available to Department of Defense Dependents Schools high school students.
The course at http://collegeboard.com/satonlinecourseschool provides 19 interactive lessons, six practice tests and more than 600 test questions, according to a news release. The Official SAT Study Guide can also be downloaded on the site, providing an additional eight practice tests and a review of all the answers to questions on the online course, the release said.
Access to the online course is free. Students need to contact their school counselor or seminar teacher to receive a password and login information.
Parents with questions can contact their child’s school counselor.
Allied to boost Internet speeds at YokotaYOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan — Allied Telesis customers who subscribe to both the premium Internet and cable television package will be receiving a free boost to their Internet speeds, according to an e-mail sent out to customers Friday.
Qualified customers in good standing will have their Internet speeds upgraded from 10 to 15 Mbps.
According to the e-mail, customers will receive an e-mail in the next several days, notifying them that the upgrade has been completed.
The upgrade is available only to customers subscribed to both premium services and cannot be purchased separately, according to the e-mail.
