NAPLES, Italy – The Allied Spouses’ Club annual International Charity Bazaar continues Saturday at the NATO base in Naples. Proceeds from the event support 22 Italian charities in the Naples area and in other NATO countries, organizers say.

The bazaar, which began Friday, will open at 10 a.m. Saturday.

The entry fee is 2 euros for an all-day ticket.

Vendor booths are open until 8 p.m., live entertainment goes until midnight.

The bazaar is open everyone.

People without a valid military ID card must obtain a guest pass to attend.

More than 40 vendors will be selling everything from leather, gourmet foods, wines, clothing, jewelry and ceramics from all over the world.

There are a few new attractions this year, such as classical music ballet and folk dancing, as well as a special children’s area that includes a bouncy castles, a magician, face painting, juggling, cotton candy and other activities.

The cost for the children’s area is 3 euros per child for the entire day, and kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults are free, and the children’s area is open from 2:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, and noon to 7 p.m. Saturday.

There are shuttle busses running from the support site in Gricignano to the NATO base, for $5 per person.
