CAMP FOSTER, Okinawa — Foster Fest will be held Oct. 18-19 on the Camp Foster parade deck.

The festival will be open from 3 to 10 p.m. Oct. 18, and from 1 to 10 p.m. Oct. 19.

Free to everyone islandwide, the festival will feature live entertainment, rides, games, a kiddie land and cultural food.

Pets, backpacks and outside alcohol will not be allowed.

Rock Band tournament coming to Camp FosterCAMP FOSTER, Okinawa — A Rock Band Xbox 360 competition will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at the Globe and Anchor on Camp Foster.

The event is open to ID card holders 18 and older, and participants must register in bands with up to four members. The entry fee is $10 per band.

Prizes will include $200 in gift cards.

Air station sponsors second annual marathonCAMP FOSTER, Okinawa — Registration is under way for the 2nd Annual Marine Corps Marathon Westpac to be held Oct. 26, according to a news release.

The race around Marine Corps Air Station Futenma can be run individually or in relay teams.
