OSAN AIR BASE, South Korea — A live stage show that uses comedy to explore the issue of date rape will be performed next week at Osan and Kunsan air bases in South Korea.

The show is called “Sex Signals” and is described as “the real-life funny sort of improv show about sex and stuff.”

The 75-minute, two-person play uses improvisational comedy, audience participation and educational discussion to cover matters involving dating, sex and rape.

It tours college campuses and other venues with a message aimed largely at young adults.

The Osan performances are set for the base theater March 10 at noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Kunsan performances are scheduled for the base theater March 12 at 7, 9 and 10:30 a.m.

Defense official to talk about work force issuesSEOUL — Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for civilian personnel policy Patricia Bradshaw will hold a one-hour town hall meeting for civilian employees Monday at Yongsan Garrison’s Balboni Theater at 2 p.m.

Bradshaw will discuss topics pertaining to the civilian work force including transformation initiatives and the expeditionary work force, according to a news release in the Morning Calm command newspaper.
