STUTTGART, Germany — Police are still trying to figure out who smashed a restaurant window and vandalized six vehicles July 12 in the middle of Patch Barracks, home of the U.S. European Command headquarters.
“There is no news,” said Olef Petersen, a spokesman for the Stuttgart police department, on Wednesday. Stuttgart and U.S. military investigators are working together to solve the crime, Petersen said.
The managers of Sixt car rental and Subway sandwich shop, which were both victimized by the vandals, said on Wednesday that they had heard nothing from police pertaining to suspects.
Anyone with information on the vandalism is asked to call military police at DSN 430-5261 or 430-5262, or 0711-680-5261 or 0711-680-5262.
