An Air Force F-15 Eagle aircraft rolled off the runway at Won Pat International Airport on Guam around 12:30 p.m. Monday following an unscheduled landing.

The pilot of the single-seat combat jet was uninjured, and initial reports indicated no damage to the plane, according to an Air Force press release. The press release’s headline said the F-15 was “disabled” after the landing.

The pilot, participating in Exercise Valiant Shield, made the landing near Andersen Air Force Base due to low fuel and poor weather conditions.

The plane is assigned to the 44th Fighter Squadron, Kadena Air Base, Okinawa.

Base officials said they are investigating the mishap.
