NAPLES, Italy — The military community in Naples, Italy will observe the annual National Night Out event on Tuesday with activities and demonstrations kicking off at 6 p.m. at the support site base in Gricignano.

Naval Support Activity Naples officials will set up emergency support service information booths and demonstrations and offer free food and a raffle, according to Navy officials.

The event, sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch, will take place in the north park of the support site housing base near the skate park, officials said.

National Night Out is commemorating 24 years of community policing designed to heighten crime and drug prevention campaigns and strengthen neighborhoods.
