RAF MILDENHALL, England — Thick fog and icy roads led to the closure of schools at Lakenheath and Feltwell on Friday, a day after children were dismissed early due to snow, authorities said.

Pupils at Alconbury who had the entire day off Thursday were back in the classroom as usual on Friday, according to a Department of Defense Dependents Schools official. Menwith Hill schools were not affected by the weather Thursday or Friday, while children from RAF Croughton and RAF Fairford were released from London Central schools a few hours early, according to DODDS representative Leo Orlando.
