YOKOSUKA NAVAL BASE, Japan — The USS Kitty Hawk returned to its homeport here Friday after spending three days underway for training exercises, a Navy news release stated.

The ship and its crew conducted drills in navigation, engineering, damage control and combat systems, and Carrier Air Wing 5 personnel performed helicopter carrier qualifications, the release said.
