OkinawaKadena Panthers2011-12 season record — 17-16; 2-4, 2nd in Okinawa Activities Council; 9th in Far East Division I Tournament.Coach — Gerald Johnson, second season.Key performers — Andre Chilton, Sr., G; Jalen Creer-Amos, Sr., SF; A.J. Grimmage, Jr., G; Josh Ward, Sr., G; Derek Taylor, Sr., C.Outlook — Rebuilding. Panthers lost many players from last season, and while they possess some returning firepower, they are lacking on experienced big players. There’s depth at guard. Trademark will be defense, Johnson says.
