STUTTGART, Germany — A Bamberg-based soldier found unresponsive in his room at Warner Barracks died of unknown causes Tuesday, the Army reported.
Spc. James Paul Misenhimer, 29, a combat engineer assigned to the 21st Theater Sustainment Command’s 370th Engineer Company (Sapper), 54th Engineer Battalion, was pronounced dead by German medical personnel, the 21st TSC said Friday.
A memorial service is scheduled for Jan. 10 at 10:30 a.m. at the Bamberg Chapel, Warner Barracks.
The incident is under investigation by U.S. and German authorities.
