SHIROYONE SENMAIDA ILLUMINATION (Ishikawa prefecture): Through March 10, for four hours after sunset; Shiroyone’s Senmaida (1,000 rice fields) refers to Japan’s historic rice paddy terraces and one of the most scenic places in Ishikawa prefecture, where you can enjoy the spectacular illumination of 25,000 LEDs lit by solar energy on footpaths between rice paddy terraces.
