Enjoy a week at one of the top winter resorts in Europe with a trip March 31 to April 7 to Val Thorens in 3 Vallées, France.
There are more than 335 miles of marked runs and more than 200 interconnected lifts available. The trip includes round-trip bus transportation, a variety of activities and on-slope accommodations in apartments.
For a single price, participants can choose from among three skiing safaris: a 32,800-vertical-foot day (explore the entire dimension of the 3 Vallées circuit), 71 black runs and the Off-Piste Special, in which one of the highlights is the Vallon du Lou descent where skiers can “waterski” across a semi-frozen lake. They can also rent snowmobiles, go snowshoeing or cross-country skiing, enjoy the indoor pool and sauna, and join in the active après-ski life.
Accommodations are in apartments, with prices on a per-person basis. For example, a large apartment for five people costs 395 euros (about $538), while one accommodating four people costs 455 euros. A smaller apartment for four is 395 euros and for three, 486 euros. A studio for three costs 425 euros and for two, 535 euros.
Pick-ups are in Würzburg, Heidelberg and Frankfurt, Germany.
