More than 600 students, parents and community members got a good workout, picked up nutrition tips and took advantage of medical screenings this month at the Landstuhl Elementary-Middle School’s third annual Family Wellness Night in Landstuhl, Germany.

More than 40 activities were available, including games, fitness programs, healthy snacks, diet suggestions and Body Mass Index screenings, during the Feb. 10 event at the school.

School and Parent Teacher Student Association organizers involved experts from the community, including dietitians from Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, staff from the hospital’s Health and Wellness Center, members of the Kaiserslautern Child and Youth Services sports office, representatives from the base library and a variety of private local organizations.
