Location: Excel London, London, UKDates: March 29-31 The U.K.’s largest cycling exhibition offers more than 300 brands of bikes and accessories to pursue, including all the latest models. Visitors can also take on a test track and meet special guests and experts in the area of cycling. Admission: Tickets costs 16 pounds when purchased online.

Location: Downtown Heidelberg, Germany Date: March 31 (starting at 3 p.m.) Heidelberg Early Summer Procession (Sommertagszug) This traditional parade to welcome the spring begins at the St. Anna Gasse and then passes through the Old City as far as Marktplatz. The colorful procession is led by Liselotte von der Pfalz. Drummers, musicians and attractively costumed marchers delight both ears and eyes, while special pretzels are a welcome treat for younger participants and bystanders. Children march through the Old City sporting special rods that are adorned with a pretzel, an empty eggshell and brightly colored ribbons.Admission: Free
Location: Wineries of the Roter Hang, Nierstein, GermanyDate: March 31 Nierstein’s 10 or so wineries open their doors to visitors to give them the chance to sample the new 2018 vintage. Given the hot previous summer, the newest wines could prove of exceptional quality.Admission: Free
Expovina Primavera Spring Wine Fair
Location: PULS 5, Giessereihalle 18, 8005 Zurich, SwitzerlandDates: March 28-April 4 (4 p.m.-10 p.m. Mon.-Fri.; 2 p.m.-10 p.m. Sat.; noon-6 p.m. Sun.) More than 2,000 wines from 20 countries and some of world’s best-known wine-growing areas await sampling in trendy modern surroundings. Wines on hand include both top-class rarities with prices to match and more everyday wines, alongside the new wines of 2018. This year’s country guest of honor is Georgia.Admission: Entry costs 25 Swiss Francs ($25.16) and is limited to those 18 and over. The price includes a catalog.
Location: Parc de l’Indépendance, Morges, SwitzerlandDates: Mar 30-May 5 Each year in spring, Morges hosts a tulip festival in which more than 120,000 tulips in 300 varieties in blossom alongside a pretty lake. On the weekend, acts by local groups entertain. Drinks and snacks are available on site.Admission: Free
