Fetes Johanniques in Reims, France, on June 2-3 celebrates the coronation of Charles VII in 1429. In the shadow of the city’s massive cathedral, craftsmen, jesters and troubadours set up house. Enjoy falconry shows, demonstrations of weapons of the time, world music concerts and costumed re-enactors. The coronation procession takes place at 3:30 p.m. June 3. A 3-D spectacle of light and sound starts at 9:45 p.m. June 2.
