EnglandChili with chocolate, churros with chocolate sauce, chocolate-flavored beer — these are some of the more exotic offerings that will be presented this weekend at London’s Chocolate Festival in Southpark Centre Square.

Taste a wide variety of chocolates and chocolate recipes from some of the world’s best chocolatiers and stock up on gifts (with a few extras for yourself).

The festival is open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free. For details, see www.festivalchocolate.co.uk/ festivals/london.

GermanyThis is the final weekend of the medieval Christmas market at the 13th-century castle in Ronneburg, northeast of Hanau.

On the grounds of this Middle Ages site, which also features a falconry center, costumed vendors will sell their medieval wares, food and hot drinks, both inside and around its walls. Jugglers, fire swallowers and musicians are set to entertain.

The market is open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Tickets cost 5 euros for adults, 4.50 euros for youths ages 14 and up, 4 euros for children ages 5 to 14 and free for those under 5. The castle website is www.burg-ronneburg.de (in German).
