Labor Day weekend will affect on-base services starting Friday, with closures and adjusted hours expected across the Kaiserslautern Military Community.

Many offices and facilities staffed by uniformed personnel will be closed Friday and Monday. Additional services are expected to close or operate on limited hours Monday for the federal holiday.

On Monday, AAFES services including military clothing and dry cleaning will be closed. Several businesses at the Kaiserslautern Military Community Center also will be closed, including the optometry clinic, DOCS Dental, H&R Block and Janz Medical Supply.

Other facilities across the KMC may have limited or adjusted hours, so plan for possible disruptions to walk-in services Friday and Monday.
