Kaiserslautern is bringing wine and live music to the city center this weekend as part of its 750th anniversary celebrations.

The city’s popular “Wine & Music” event runs Friday from 5 p.m. to midnight and Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight. Restaurants and cafes throughout the city center will serve wines, sparkling wines and other drinks, with live music at several locations.

Visitors can stroll between participating venues and catch everything from jazz and pop to acoustic performances and DJ sets.

The free two-day event aims to celebrate Kaiserslautern’s anniversary by combining the region’s wine culture with a relaxed summer festival atmosphere in the heart of the city.
