Festival season isn’t slowing down anytime soon.

This weekend’s lineup features live music, local wine, global flavors, scenic vineyard views and even a hike dedicated to cheesecake, giving you plenty of excuses to get out and explore the region.

Cheesecake Hike: Trade an ordinary walk for a delicious adventure on this 2-mile hike through Kindenheim’s vineyards and historic landmarks starting at 10 a.m. Sunday. Stop at six stations along the route to enjoy local wines, regional specialties and slices of the town’s famous cheesecake. Free admission.

Street Food Festival: Bring your appetite to this flavor-packed festival in Bad Dürkheim from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday. Sample everything from savory street eats to sweet treats, sip refreshing drinks, and let the kids burn off energy in the play area. Free admission.

Resident Fest: Raise a glass to the weekend with live music, local and national wines, and plenty of tasty festival food at this lively celebration in Kirchheimbolanden all day Saturday and Sunday. Wander between wine stands, enjoy the entertainment and soak up the festive atmosphere. Free admission.

Jamaican Summer Night: Kick off the weekend with reggae rhythms, Caribbean flavors and island-inspired cocktails at the Congress Center Ramstein starting at 7:30 p.m. Friday. A Bob Marley tribute band provides the soundtrack for an evening that brings a taste of Jamaica to the KMC. Free admission.

Beach Bath Festival: Spend the day cooling off in the water, then dance the night away at this beachside party in Frankenthal on Friday and Saturday. Two music stages offer everything from laid-back summer vibes to energetic dance hits, with plenty of food and drinks to keep the party going. Admission is 7 euros.
