Whether you’re looking for some new ink or a treasure of an antique, the Kaiserslautern area has creative offerings for all tastes this weekend. Here are a few of our top picks:

Ramstein Tattoo Convention: The Tattootata convention is hosting skin artists from around the world, highlighting traditional to ultra-realism styles and everything in between, to the Ramstein Congress Center. Live tattooing and piercing sessions, workshops, contests, food trucks and live music round out a rocking weekend. The convention runs Saturday from noon to 10 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased here.

Brunch & Paint: No worries if you prefer your art off of your body! There are still spots available for Ramstein Arts and Crafts Center’s “Brunch & Paint” event on Saturday. Create a stained-glass inspired koi fish painting on wood while sipping a mimosa or nibbling on a spread of pastries and cheese. This adults only event goes from 9 a.m.- 13:30. Tickets are $50 per person. Call the Arts and Crafts Center to reserve your spot.

Community Flea Market: You never know what treasures you might find at the Ramstein Community Center’s monthly flea market. The market is open from 10 a.m. to 3p.m. on Saturday. From clothing and accessories to vintage wares and unique finds, there’s always something new to discover.

Picnic Concert: If performance art is more your style, pack the basket, blankets, and chairs, and head over to Benzino Park in Kusel for a free picnic concert with the Schellweiler music club on Sunday at 11 a.m. The brass ensemble plays a of variety of traditional, modern and symphonic music sure to please.
