Today is the last day to reserve a free Fourth of July shuttle to Baumholder

Kaiserslautern Military Community residents planning to celebrate the Fourth of July in Baumholder can catch a free courtesy shuttle, but seats must be reserved by Wednesday.

The shuttle will run Saturday for soldiers, civilians, contractors and family members with base access traveling between the KMC and Baumholder for the holiday festivities, according to a Baumholder Morale, Welfare and Recreation statement.

Shuttles depart the KMC at 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., then leave Baumholder at 5 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. The ride takes about an hour each way.
