Drivers are encouraged to avoid Pariserstrasse in Kaiserslautern due to a crash that has backed up traffic toward the city center late Monday morning.
The crash happened at the intersection with Gustave-Eiffel-Strasse near the Waschpark car wash. The intersection remained blocked by the involved vehicles as of about 11:45 a.m., according to witnesses.
Traffic heading toward the city center was backed up to Highway 270, while traffic in the opposite direction was delayed for several blocks, according to German road authorities.
