KMC Onstage 10-Minute plays: Join KMC Onstage as new local directors showcase their talents with a variety of short plays at Building 3232 on Kleber Kaserne. There’s something for everyone at this free event with a mix of comedic and dramatic performances. Showtimes are Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. with a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m.

Kaiserslautern Harvest Festival: The 11th Kaiserslautern Harvest Festival brings musical performances, local culinary delights and more to Stiftsplatz on Friday starting at 7 a.m. A slew of events downtown round out the weekend as part of the city’s 750th anniversary. Otterbach family day: Kaiserslautern hosts its 5th family day festival on Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. in Otterbach. There’s entertainment for young and old with two stages packed full of live performances including music, dance, and showcases of tiny talent from local kindergartens. Bull riding, face painting, bouncy castles and more offer plenty of free fun for the whole family. Around 90 information booths of local organizations will also provide a multitude of inspiration for regional leisure activities.

Langenbach Airfield Festival: The Kusel Aviation Sports Club takes to the skies on Sunday for a free airfield festival near the village of Langenbach. Various airshows and displays kick off at 9:30 a.m. Food and drink are available onsite, and visitors can enjoy flights on gliders and motorized aircraft for an additional fee.
