Naturerlebnisbad Landstuhl, the natural swimming pool in Landstuhl, will be closed Friday due to extreme heat.

Despite a constant supply of fresh water, pool temperatures have become “excessively” hot and need time to cool down, the pool’s website said.

The Kaiserslautern area is under an extreme warning for high temperatures that are forecast to continue through Saturday, peaking at 103 degrees F, according to Weather Underground.
