Kapaun Air Station is experiencing a widespread power outage, according to a U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz statement released Thursday morning.

Nearly all facilities on the installation are affected, including the post office, vehicle registration office and School Age Program, according to the statement.

Officials did not provide a cause for the outage or an estimated time for power restoration. Residents and employees are encouraged to monitor official garrison channels for updates.
