Several Kaiserslautern-area outdoor pools have recently opened for the season. Options include the huge Waschmühle and the heated Warmfreibad in Kaiserslautern. Wiggle your toes on the rocks on the bottom of the Naturerlebnisbad, a chlorine-free outdoor swimming facility in Landstuhl. The solar-heated pool in Trippstadt is also open.

Of course, there are plenty of other options out there for swimming, including some indoor spots that were already open like Azur in Ramstein, the Ramstein Aquatic Center on Ramstein Air Base and Monte Mare in Kaiserslautern.
