Razz Ma Tazz and KMC Onstage honored for shows

Local theaters Razz Ma Tazz and KMC Onstage each brought home several trophies from this weekend’s US Army IMCOM Europe Tournament of Plays awards show and ceremony, also known as the TOPPERs. The event, which featured attendees from across Europe, was held Saturday in Wiesbaden.

Razz Ma Tazz’s entry was the mystery-comedy play “Clue.” Its awards included:

  • Outstanding hair and makeup design: Del Turner, Agena Christophersen and Dyana Spencer

  • Outstanding stage properties and set dressing: Ciara Anderson and Jessica Steele

  • Outstanding set design: Jessica Mills

  • Outstanding stage management: Michael Malone

  • 2026 Judges’ Choice Award for innovative community service: Razz Ma Tazz

KMC Onstage’s entry was the original musical “Piper,” written and composed by Avril Callicutt. Its awards included:

  • Outstanding family show

  • 2026 Judges Award - Avril Callicutt

  • Outstanding debut performance in a musical - Violet Markzon

  • Outstanding musical accompaniment- Avril Callicutt

  • Outstanding instrumentalist - Victoria Deutsch

What’s next at the theaters?

Razz Ma Tazz is planning auditions at the Ramstein Community Center for “The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales” in July.

The musical “Legally Blonde” opens May 8 and runs through May 17 at KMC Onstage on Kleber Kaserne. Registration for a directing workshop is open Friday through May 29, with the workshop scheduled for May 30 and 31.
