The Defender Cafe dining facility on Rhine Ordnance Barracks reopened Monday after a five-week closure, according to a statement posted on the 21st Theater Sustainment Command’s Facebook page.

The facility closed March 16 after inspections found evidence of rodent activity that required immediate remediation, a 21st TSC representative told Stars and Stripes. The decision was made to prioritize the health and safety of the command’s soldiers, civilians and families, the representative said.

On weekdays, the café serves breakfast from 7:30 to 9 a.m., lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and dinner from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., according to the statement. On weekends and federal holidays, brunch is served from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by supper from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
